OMG, It’s Almost Daylight Saving Time!

Ok, here’s the main reason March is wonderful: we roll the clocks forward an hour, so the sun stays in the sky later! And we no longer have to feel ready for bed by 5:30 in the evening!

But I haven’t found a Sangria that celebrates Daylight Saving Time yet. So this year, we’re going to celebrate-with-Sangria the 2nd best thing about March: St. Patrick’s Day!

We did a fun Green Apple Sangria last year to celebrate the green-ness of St. Patrick’s Day. This year, we’re celebrating the leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with a beautiful Rainbow Sangria, courtesy of Chrissy at the Taylor House.

Besides being gorgeous (just look at Chrissy’s photo!) and healthy (all that fruit’s gotta count for something!), it’s so easy to make because you have very little chopping to do. Love that!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Red Grapes
  • Green Grapes
  • Pineapple
  • Oranges
  • Strawberries or Raspberries
  • Moscato
  • Seltzer Water

Head over to The Taylor House for the complete recipe.

Oh, and fyi, you get hostess bonus points if you serve a little pot of (chocolate) gold with it 😉

Did you try it? What did you think?!

Cheers! From Savings and Sangria
